Cyber-Seniors Certification and Licensing Programs equip individuals and organizations with the skills and resources necessary to deliver accessible and effective technology training and support for older adults.

Tech Trainer Individual Certification Program

This Tech Training Certification Program is designed for individuals who work with older adults and wish to develop  the necessary skills to effectively deliver technology training and support to their clients. This program is ideal for individuals who work with older adults such as Occupational Therapists (OTs), Activity Coordinators, Social Workers, PSWs and Homecare Workers. The program consists of one 4-hour group training session, followed by a 30-minute individual consulting call with a Cyber-Seniors trained facilitator. The program runs once a month.

Tech Trainer Group Certification Program

This Tech Training Certification Program is designed for organizations that want to equip their staff with the skills necessary to engage older adults in technology training. This model offers a flexible curriculum designed in collaboration, and to meet the specific needs of an organization. The program is scheduled around the availability of the group.  

$1000 for up to 10 people

Tech Trainer for Teachers and Youth Leaders

This program trains teachers and youth leaders to establish a custom Cyber-Seniors training program for the young people they serve. In three 1-hour consultation meetings, you will meet with a Cyber-Seniors trained facilitator to: 

  1. Review the curriculum and assist in customizing it to meet the needs of your group.
  2. Learn how to use the Cyber-Seniors online portal which allows you to track your participants’ progress.
  3. Provide support and additional resources to ensure success of the program.

$3000 (includes a 2 year license of material)

Organization Certification and Licensing

This Program is designed for organizations looking to create their own Cyber-Seniors program. This program provides training and certification of staff who will be involved in the delivery of the program, as well as training and resources to recruit and train volunteers, promote the program to older adults and find funding to support the program. Licensing to use the Cyber-Seniors trademarked name is also included.
