Cyber-Seniors supports community organizations to deliver both in-person and virtual Cyber-Seniors programs. Whether you are considering starting a new Cyber-Seniors program or wishing to enhance your current program, we offer a rich and wide array of resources and services to help you meet your organizational goals. We have trained thousands of volunteers to deliver the Cyber-Seniors program and invite you to tap into this valuable resource and use our customized scheduling system to ensure the best match for your seniors. In addition, our system helps you monitor your program, collect data and administer impact surveys.

Senior Volunteer Training

With COVID-19 hundreds of senior citizens have been furloughed from their volunteer positions. Cyber-Seniors provides focused technology training for senior citizens who wish to continue volunteering in an online capacity. Formal training is provided followed by unlimited practice sessions, until the senior is able assume their activities independently.

Training on New Devices

During this time of social distancing, many organizations are providing senior citizens with technology devices to keep them connected and self-sufficient. Cyber-Seniors’ has developed an effective and cost-efficient model of delivering tech-training for seniors receiving new devices.  Formal training is provided followed by unlimited practice sessions.

Educators and Youth Organizations

Bring Cyber-Seniors To Your Classroom

Incorporate Cyber-Senior’s Mentor Training and volunteer opportunities into your course curriculum, co-op and experiential-learning programs. We provide programming which consists of video lessons, learning activities and hand-in assignments, as well as tool kits to support students wishing to start their own Cyber-Seniors program or host an event. In addition, we provide volunteer opportunities for students who require work experience for course completion.

Internships and Service-Learning Opportunities

Cyber-Seniors provides supervised online internships where students can receive real work experience and earn school credits. All interns must complete the Cyber-Seniors Mentor Training Program and a portion of their internship involves providing seniors with technology training and support. In addition, under the supervision of a Cyber-Seniors staff member, students are assigned a work project based on their interest, course requirement and qualifications.
