Workout Series (with George Brown students)

Feb 11, Feb 25, Mar 11, Mar 25, Apr 8: Fancy Feet Fitness and Learning

This 4 session, 40 min exercise class consists of basic balance exercise; cardio using basic jazz, waltz, polka and jive dance moves; and simple agility drills.  By the end of the four sessions participants will:

  •     have an understanding of how hip, ankle and stepping actions enable us to maintain and regain our balance
  •     Know some basic balance exercise that can be performed anywhere any time
  •     Know some simple agility drills
  •     Have had fun

Whether complimenting an ongoing exercise routine, looking for some new ideas to try or looking to get started join us for Fancy Feet Fitness and Learning. No equipment needed, just a clutter free space about 7.5 ft by 5.5 ft to waltz, polka and jive.

Get your exercise/yoga mat out, find a safe place where you can follow along and do toning and strengthening your core. Guests are encouraged to turn their cameras on and follow along!
